Tomohiro Nagatsuka Husbando

Tomohiro Nagatsuka is a supporting character in the Koe no Katachi series. He is one of the first people to gain the trust of Shōya Ishida and is quick to call him a best friend. He has aspirations to become a filmmaker and pursues his goals with sincere passion. Tomohiro wears a yellow jumper with a white shirt underneath and a red undershirt. Usually, when he isn't wearing his uniform, he is seen wearing a scarf. Tomohiro has dark green curly hair and a chubby physique. At one point, he ends up growing a mustache as a token of good luck for Shōya Ishida. Tomohiro is a boy with a big heart, being very supportive and loyal to the people he considers his friends. However, he can also be rather possessive and pushy, with frantic behavior that’s off-putting to others around him. Tomohiro was often rejected by others for things such as his physique and haircut, causing him to develop an underlying superiority complex due to feelings of loneliness and isolation. He also has a tendency to lie about various things such as the amount of friends he has, implying he feels the need to look cool or knowledgeable, becoming defensive when people see through him. Despite this, he is able to realize his shortcomings and begin to let his positive qualities such as his care for his friends define who he is. He is also really ambitious and persistent when it comes to his goals, in particular his desire to become a filmmaker, although this also means that he doesn’t know when to quit.
